With author Jodi Carmichael
Author Jodi Carmichael shows tween writers that an author’s job is to write so clearly that a reader can "see" what the writer sees in their mind. To become a better writer, Jodi talks about the importance of reading, writing, thinking like a writer, using your senses, reading work out loud, studying other books, accepting feedback, editing, and adding detail.
Open to students currently attending Grades 4, 5, or 6. Supported by TD Canadian Children's Book Week.
