Program RoomRooted in Indigenous ways
Your curiosity is welcome here. Gathering Voices is a community circle for anyone who is curious about Indigenous teachings, history, culture, and ways of being. Whether you are just beginning your learning journey or have been walking this path for many years, we invite you to share your questions and stories without fear of judgement.
Each month, people gather to connect, learn from one another, and explore teachings that support well-being, healing, belonging, culture, and community connection. You are welcome to speak up and share your questions and reflections or simply sit and listen to others around you. The circle is rooted in the Indigenous tradition of gathering in a circle, where everyone is valued, everyone belongs, and every voice matters.
Gathering Voices is hosted in collaboration with Grandmother's Voice, an Indigenous-led collective dedicated to strengthening relationships, building understanding, and supporting community well-being across the Halton region and beyond.
Through teachings, gatherings, cultural learning opportunities, and community partnerships, Grandmother's Voice helps create spaces where Indigenous and non-Indigenous people can come together to learn, connect, and walk forward in a good way.
