Learn about optimizing shoulder health, then walk with us!
Get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking! Physiotherapist Anne Svetik-Jones discusses a variety of shoulder conditions, how they are diagnosed and treated, and offers information and resources to optimize shoulder health through exercise and local programming. After the talk, spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the walk. Meet us near the Fireplace at the New Appleby branch. We will then move to the outdoor space at the Robert Bateman Community Centre, facing the grassy field at the north entrance of the building.
Walking is a wonderful form of physical activity, and we encourage all levels of walking ability to participate in this event—whether you complete the entire walk or join us for part of the journey! Walking devices, mobility aids, and walking companions are welcome. All participants must sign a waiver provided at the start of the walk.
Presented in collaboration with the Burlington Family Health Team and Just Walk
