Creating a “Tone Poem”
Experience the therapeutic benefits of using your voice, singing, and improvisation by creating a Voicescape designed to help with relaxation. This hands-on workshop includes a vocal warm up and games as you work as a group towards creating a Tone Poem—a simple, easy, song that aims to unite people, dissolve barriers, and open hearts and minds.
All materials are provided, and no musical or vocal experience is required. Come prepared to learn and have fun!
Workshop facilitator Karen Agro is a health professional and musician who is completing a Professional Diploma in Sound Arts Therapy through the British Academy of Sound Therapy.
