Karma Brown is an award-winning journalist and author of six novels, including the #1 international bestseller Recipe for a Perfect Wife, and most recently, What Wild Women Do. This Toronto-based writer is currently working on two upcoming novels: the holiday rom-com, The Christmas Cure, under the pen name Kristine Winters (October 2025), and her debut horror novel, The Mother (Spring 2026). She also writes rom-coms under the pen name Maggie Knox.

Heather Dixon is the author of contemporary women’s fiction, including Burlington, Last Summer at the Lake House, and The Summerville Sisters. In addition to writing fiction, Heather is a managing editor of a non-profit website about raising active kids. Her writing has appeared in a number of established sites, including Huffington Post, Motherly, and SavvyMom, and she has appeared on CBC radio and in print in The Globe and Mail.
