Learn about gut health & walk with us!
Get out, get active, and embrace the benefits of walking! Burlington Family Health Team Registered Dietitian Andrea Howe discusses how walking can benefit our digestion and gut health. Learn how a daily 15-minute walk can improve our body's ability to digest food, reduce symptoms of indigestion and bloating, and boost your energy levels. After the talk, spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the walk. Meet us in Centennial Hall in the library. We will then move to the outdoor space at the Central Park Rose Garden, just opposite the south entrance, facing New Street.
Walking is a wonderful form of physical activity, and we encourage all levels of walking ability to participate in this event—whether you complete the entire walk or join us for part of the journey! Walking devices, mobility aids, and walking companions are welcome. All participants must sign a waiver, which is provided at the start of the walk.
