FREE help to prepare income returns for those who qualify
Runs every Monday, 9:30am to 3pm from March 4 to April 29
Need a hand preparing your tax return? Trained helpers from the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) complete and e-file simple tax returns while you wait. Drop in; please come prepared to wait, especially in March.
In general, your family income must be less than $35,000 for a single person, $45,000 for a couple, or slightly higher for a family. Excluded are returns for those who are self-employed, have a business or rental income, or are in bankruptcy.
IMPORTANT: BPL is a host location for the Burlington Community Volunteer Income Tax Program clinic in the community. Once the clinic closes on April 29, please contact Canada Revenue Agency directly for any further help with your tax return or the status of your tax refund. Canada Revenue Agency: 1.800.959.8281
