Kids Writing Workshop with Sylvia McNicoll
"It was a dark and stormy night." Wait—You don’t want to begin a story that way!
Your setting should draw your reader in and place them right in the middle of the action, not waiting outside in the rain. This workshop helps young writers treat setting as a different kind of character in their story, enhancing the theme to make it a worthwhile read.
Author Jennifer Maruno sincerely regrets that she is unable to present at this workshop as planned, and she's thrilled that Sylvia McNicoll is stepping in to teach in her place!
Please note: This workshop will now run 1:30 to 3pm.
Funding for this workshop has been provided in part by the Burlington Arts and Culture Fund
