Rik Emmett has released 32 albums throughout his career, which encompass a wide range of genres including rock, blues, jazz, folk, and classical music. His contributions to music have earned him a place in several Canadian Halls and Walks of Fame. He was a guitar magazine columnist for over a dozen years, a college music educator for a few decades, and in 2021, he published a book of poetry, Reinvention. A devoted family man, Rik lives in Burlington with his wife of 46 years, where he keeps himself busy by writing, recording, and regularly blogging.
