In this workshop, Master Gardener Bev Wagar shares the basics of seed collection, cleaning, sorting, and storage. Learn about cross pollination and ways to avoid surprises next season. The talk covers popular vegetables and ornamental plants.
Beverley Wagar is a certified Master Gardener, Accredited Organic Land Care Practitioner, and gardening educator. She has 25 years of hands-on experience in diverse gardening environments, both ornamental and food focused. A native plant enthusiast, she helped found the Monarch Awards in Hamilton. In 2023 she co-founded Garden Journeys Open Days, an open-gardens event for ecological and native-plant gardens in Hamilton.
