Exploring his '4Rs' of reconciliation through storytelling
Jim Adams, an Indigenous storyteller of First Nations and settler heritage, creates spaces for healthy dialogue and action. Through stories featuring his four Rs (Resilience, Resurgence, Relationship, and Recon-ciliaction), Adams conveys the seldom told history of Indigenous people in Canada and explores how connecting to these 4Rs is a vital step in the journey of Recon-ciliaction.
Jim Adams has twenty plus years of working in the community as an Indigenous educator with Toronto District School Board, Peel and Attawapiskat Boards of Education, Toronto Public Library, and various Toronto area non-profit organizations. He is an accomplished storyteller with lived experience with land-based Indigenous teachings.
