Myles D Rusak, CEO of Burlington's acclaimed Sound of Music Festival moderates four lyrics & storytelling instructional conversations to inspire and motivate all writers with a song in their heart throughout Poetry Month in April. This session features East Coast's award-winning singer-songwriter, Brandon Howard Roy.
Brandon Howard Roy is a Queer singer-songwriter taking the East Coast music scene by storm. His debut album, "Tough Stuff," was recently nominated for Pop Recording of the Year at the 2022 East Coast Music Awards (ECMAs), and he's received numerous Music PEI Award nominations, including New Artist of the Year (2021) and Solo Recording of the Year (2022). Born and raised in Montreal, he attended Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program, followed by a multi-year career as an actor on stages across Canada. Currently, he's working on his newest album in his Charlottetown PEI studio and looking forward to his first national tour in summer 2022.
