This lively event brings these traditions to life through interactive storytelling, dance, and hand drumming.

Babarinde Williams is an award-winning ethnomusicologist, multi-instrumentalist, master drummer, Griot (storyteller), and motivational speaker. Born in Nigeria, Baba has traveled throughout West Africa studying traditional percussion, dance, and storytelling techniques, and has also been featured on TEDtalks and other academic forums. His most unforgettable experience was playing for Nelson Mandela in Nigeria.
