Rooted in Indigenous ways
Gathering Voices is a welcoming community circle where people come together to share stories, learn from one another and connect through Indigenous teachings and holistic practices. Hosted monthly, the gathering grows into whatever the community needs at the moment. It is a space for reflection, conversation, culture, healing, and belonging. It is rooted in the Indigenous tradition of gathering in a circle where everyone is equal, everyone is held, and everyone is heard. All are welcome.
This circle is hosted in collaboration with Grandmother's Voice. About Grandmother's Voice: Empowering communities across the Halton region, Grandmother's Voice serves as a beacon for building awareness and fostering connectedness. They are dedicated to enhancing capacity and illuminating the landscape of Indigenous social services and determinants of health in the region. They strive to strengthen bonds, raise awareness, and contribute to the well-being of our community.
