An Earth Month Poetry event with Barbara Tran
Spend an inspiring afternoon with poet and author Barbara Tran as she discusses her acclaimed debut collection, Precedented Parroting, and reflects on her creative process and the powerful stories behind her work. An expansive, lyrically rich exploration of memory, identity, and the natural world, this collection of bird-themed poems traverses personal archives and challenges cultural and avian stereotypes.
This event is funded by the League of Canadian Poets, the Canada Council for the Arts and the Department of Canadian Heritage.
