Here's what we're reading this month The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson
This novel follows the lives of two women, Tressie and a fellow packhorse librarian, during the Great Depression in rural Kentucky. The story highlights the struggles of the community and the importance of access to books and education. As Tressie navigates personal hardships, including poverty and discrimination, she forms a deep bond with her fellow librarians and the people they serve.
