Lana Button is the award-winning local author of over a dozen children's books, including her latest titles, See You Later Alligator, My Grammie's House, and the upcoming The First Ones on the Ice. Her books have been translated into five languages and shortlisted for several awards. Among her various honours, she was a recipient of the Crystal Kite Award from Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators for excellence in the field of children’s literature.

Jennifer Faria is a Burlington-based professional fine artist, portrait painter, and picture book illustrator. She has spent over 50,000 hours drawing and painting since childhood, studied art at Toronto's Central Technical School, and earned a Graphic Design & Advertising diploma from George Brown College. Jennifer has exhibited her work in solo and group shows, and been commissioned to create a wide range of custom portraits and original artwork.

Jennifer Maruno is the author of nine novels for young readers as well as several picture books, all which have received starred reviews and recognition. While You Sleep, a lullaby picture book, was selected for the 2023 Bank Street College of Education Best Children’s Books of the Year. As an elementary school principal, Jennifer encouraged all lessons begin with a story—even math! A local resident, Jennifer enjoys writing, traveling, and mentoring other writers.

Anitha Rao-Robinson is an author, conservationist, and creator of the Kindness Is Everything podcast. Her published books include A Family for Faru, Sari Sisters, and Music of the Bells. A former accountant, Anitha now devotes her time to helping animals and writing children’s stories. Anitha lives on a hobby farm with her family, both human and non-human alike.
