Linwood Barclay, a New York Times best-selling author with twenty novels to his credit, spent three decades in newspapers before turning full time to writing thrillers. His books have been translated into more than two dozen languages, sold millions of copies, and he counts Stephen King among his fans. Many of Linwood's books have been optioned for film and TV, a series has been made in France, and he wrote the screenplay for the film based on his novel, "Never Saw it Coming."
Linwood joins crime writer Melodie Campbell to talk about his latest novel, "Take Your Breath Away," released in North America on May 17.
Named the "Canadian literary heir to Donald Westlake" by Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Melodie Campbell is a winner of 10 awards, including The Derringer (US) and the Crime Writers of Canada Award of Excellence, she has multiple bestsellers, and her publications include over 100 comedy credits, 16 novels, and 60 short stories.
