Endometriosis (also known as endo) is a chronic debilitating disease affecting one in 10 individuals assigned female at birth. Currently, there is no definitive cause or cure, and it usually takes more than seven years to be diagnosed. Endometriosis affects patients’ daily lives due to symptoms such as chronic pelvic pain, possible infertility, cyclic leg pain, excessive ovulation pain and menstrual pain, chronic fatigue, and more.
