Just Walk
Saturday, August 17
9:30am - 10:30am
Join us for our walk & talk program
Get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking! This session is led by Burlington Family Health Team physiotherapist, Anne Svetik-Jones. First, learn about the benefits of swimming and aqua-therapy for your mind, body, and soul. And then, spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation.
Meet us the Mountain Garden Room at the Brant Hill branch. We will then move to the outdoor space for the walk.
Walking is a wonderful form of physical activity and we encourage all levels of walking ability to participate in this event—whether you complete the entire walk or join us for part of the journey! Walking devices, mobility aids, and walking companions are welcome. All participants must sign a waiver, which is provided at the start of the walk.
Presented in partnership with the Burlington Family Health Team and Just Walk
