Hula Girls is a feel good and wonderfully-scored movie based on the real-life story of how a group of girls take up hula dancing to save their small Japanese mining village.
Winner of many awards in the 2006 Japanese equivalent of the Oscars, and also the Japanese submission to the 2007 Oscar's Best Foreign Language film.
