FireplaceLearn about pelvic floor health, then walk with us!
Get moving, stay active, and discover the many benefits of walking! Physiotherapist Emma Tawil explores the role of the pelvic floor muscles and how pelvic floor physiotherapy can help improve function and reduce pain. Learn about common pelvic floor conditions, available treatment approaches, and how physiotherapy can support your overall health and well-being. After the talk, spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and lively conversation.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the walk. Meet us near the Fireplace at the Tansley Woods Branch. We will then move to the outdoor space at Tansley Woods, facing the grassy field just in front of the library parking lot (just south of Upper Middle).
Walking is a wonderful form of physical activity, and we encourage walkers of all abilities to participate in this event—whether you complete the entire walk or join us for part of the journey! Walking devices, mobility aids, and walking companions are welcome. All participants must sign a waiver, which is provided at the start of the walk.
