Haiku is an unrhymed Japanese poem of only three lines. Local author Jennifer Maruno shares her latest book, Chidori, as inspiration to write a poem about nature. Parents and children work together to create and express themselves through this simple written art form. Please register all members of your group who will be attending.
About the Presenter
Jennifer Maruno is the author of several books for young readers. As elementary school principal, Jennifer encouraged all lessons begin with a story—even mathematics. Jennifer enjoys writing, travelling, and mentoring other writers. Jennifer lives in Burlington, Ontario, among her David Austen roses.
