LIVE presentation via ZOOM
Join Kwantlen writer, Joseph Dandurand, for a thoughtful look at the deep meaning behind his award-winning work. Dandurand was nominated for one of poetry's most prestigious awards, the Griffin Poetry Prize. His humble, vulnerable words unveil experiences with residential school, the psych ward, and drug use in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. He explores the ongoing process of healing through reconnection with family, the natural world, and traditional Indigenous storytelling. “These are powerful visionary parables of suffering, redemption and retribution...” – Toronto Star
Tune in for a raw look at the trials behind his most gripping work, and his journey to healing through poetry.
