Christiane Banks is the author of the award-winning historical family sagas Amelia’s Prayer and Amazing Grace. Raised along the rugged Northeast coastline of England, Christiane’s youth saw the beginnings of a post-World War II life. At age 13, she began work as an apprentice shampoo girl and met many women whose vivid stories of life, love, and hardship, particularly through the wars, inspired her to write.
