Interviewed by author & journalist Elizabeth Renzetti
Two bestselling authors take centre stage when Canadian-British journalist Elizabeth Renzetti interviews three-time Booker nominated novelist Andrew O'Hagan about his writing career and his newest book, Caledonian Road, one of the Globe and Mail's most anticipated books of 2024.
From the author of Mayflies, comes an irresistible, unputdownable, state-of-the-nation novel—the story of one man’s epic fall from grace.
Campbell Flynn, a celebrity art historian, always knew when his life came crashing down it would happen in public—yet he never imagined that a single year in London would expose so much. All of Flynn's worlds collide―the art scene and academia, fashion and the English aristocracy, journalism and the internet, as a web of crimes and scandals enter his life and Caledonian Road gives up its secrets.
Andrew O’Hagan was born in Glasgow. Among his many accolades, he has been nominated for the Booker Prize three times and won the E.M. Forster Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the Los Angeles Times Book Award. He is the Editor-at-Large of the London Review of Books and contributes to various literary publications. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a Visiting Professor of Creative Writing at King’s College London.
