A guided tour of the trees of Central Park
Take a stroll in the great outdoors with BurlingtonGreen and Kyle McLoughlin from the City of Burlington Forestry department. As we tour the trees around Central Branch, connect with local nature and hear how trees benefit our community, the importance of urban forestry, the City’s Urban Forest Master Plan, and opportunities for residents to support trees in Burlington.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the walk. Meet us in the library lobby. We will then move to the outdoor space. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.
Be prepared to stand during the event and take a slow-paced one-hour walk on and near the Library grounds. Activity can be adapted to accommodate those with mobility devices.
Residents over age 55 are encouraged to attend this event.
