A Black History Month special event for families with Cameile Henry
Join us for a captivating community building and storytelling experience with author Cameile Henry. In this family-friendly event, children come together to foster connections and celebrate diversity through engaging activities and stories. Ms. Henry's book, You Make a Difference, highlights the achievements and contributions of Black Canadians, honours Black History, and inspires kids to learn about diverse role models.
Cameile Henry, MA, is a program coordinator and Early Childhood Education (ECE) professor at the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Brampton, ON. As an ECE professor, she facilitates numerous learning opportunities to enrich the lives of children from infancy to 12 years of age. She is a registered facilitator for Circle of Security, an international program that supports primary care providers with the tools to enhance building strong attachments with children. She also serves as an educational consultant for the CBC animation series Jeremy and Jazzy and is the founder of Strengthen Hands Education Resources Inc.
